It is so rewarding to share your passion with such interesting people. I may confess teaching is very easy with this group as everyone is very interested in learning, and sharing. We have a very dynamic group, and over all very creative. Sometimes I am surprised at the relevant questions and creativity those “newbies” photographers have.

Teaching is also very humbling for the teacher. I learn a lot about myself, about people. Also it’s very flattering to see people are actually interested about what you say!!

The cultural differences could be an issue, but I really think they are a strength.  People help each other and I try not to keep track of my explanations when I switch to another language.

This workshop was about storytelling, and I try to teach people the best pictures are the ones which tell a story, have a message, and not always the ones technically perfect.

A big thank you to Rita who co-teaches and Valerie who organises the workshops.

Here are some pictures taken by the students. Our next workshop is on June 25th for those who live in Brussels and would like to join us.
